A long day’s night-

First off, I have very little to say lest it should be worth saying. I do, however, have a very poor and fleeting memory. In my age (whatever that may be) it is quite important to savor silence, but before I turn to dust, I think I’ll keep an account of long-forgotten days.

Trivial? Maybe. Let’s just say an old friend influenced me. I’ll end with a favorite quote, as lovers of language are wont to do:

“The real meaning of enlightenment is to gaze with undimmed eyes on all darkness.”
